As a participant in the Upper St. Clair Athletic Association (USCAA), I understand that I represent my team, my community, and myself. I agree to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship, respect, and effort.
- Respect the Game
- Play by the rules at all times.
- Accept the decisions of coaches, referees, and officials without argument.
- Maintain self-control on and off the field.
- Respect Others
- Treat teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials with respect and courtesy.
- Avoid any behavior that is abusive, bullying, or unsportsmanlike.
- Support and encourage all players, regardless of skill level.
- Be a Team Player
- Attend all practices and games unless I have a valid excuse and have informed my coach.
- Put forth my best effort and maintain a positive attitude.
- Understand that playing time is earned through effort, attitude, and attendance.
- Promote a Safe Environment
- Refrain from the use of foul language, drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.
- Report injuries honestly and follow all safety guidelines, including concussion protocols.
- Use equipment safely and responsibly.
- Report any unsafe behavior or injuries to coaches or adults.
- Represent My Community with Pride
- Show pride in the Upper St. Clair community by acting with integrity on and off the field.
- Use respectful behavior in person and online, including on social media.
- Leave facilities clean and respect all property.

Consequences for Violating the Code
I understand and accept that if I fail to abide by the aforementioned guidelines, I will be subject to disciplinary action that could include, but is not limited to, the following:
- A verbal warning by an official, head coach, and/or head of league organization
- A parent/guardian meeting with coaches or USCAA commissioner(s).
- Suspension from practices or games.
- Removal from the team or USCAA participation.
Note: Severe violations such as violence, harassment, or substance use may result in immediate suspension or removal without prior warnings. Final authority rests with the USCAA Board and/or Commissioners.
