The travel portion of the program provides players who have advanced skills and abilities the opportunity to participate in a competitive environment. Players will be evaluated at tryout sessions and rosters are limited. Some players may not be placed on a team. Travel basketball starts in 3rd grade and goes through 8th grade. Two travel teams are selected for each grade. Travel basketball teams participate in a league and in tournaments. The travel basketball season starts in November and runs through March. To qualify for travel basketball, in addition to other requirements, a player must register and participate fully in recreation basketball.
